Hat

Saw a hat at Bergdorf Goodman yesterday.

It looks like a swim cap, and somewhat looks and feels like the hats that those monks in the valleys of Nepal would wear.

The touch was like silk brocade on the surface, underneath it, it was mohair.
At one point, I thought of the those frozen lakes. Those frozen foggy winter dreams...

Between light and shadow

There are two side of things and lots of in between.

The sun is the same, yet it's up to where you stand, you embrace more light, or you are in deep darkness...

In our neighborhood.

The New York Times Building, at night

E.13th St.

After Yoga at Om, it was time for a little treat at Pure Food & Wine.

We took a shortcut, and suddenly found ourselves on a small side street on E.13th St.

A gorgeous stable like loft.

Little vintage clothing shop, next door to an old fashion florist which still bore a poster saying "Voting for John Kerry".

Time seems to stay still here, although rumor has it that the stable is turning into a disco.

New Year's Day, 2008

Cafe Grumpy or Cafe Cluny, that's the first thing I needed to decide, on the first day of 2008.

Not too tough, one is open and the other not. So, Cafe Cluny
, that is.

It was spring like, fresh and crisp, still a bit chilly. Yet, ready to slip into a pair of Givenchy that I just got - such carefree freedom that
my toes are trembling a bit.

On the road, again.
